The 2009 ANB Queensland Natural Physique titles was my first ever figure competition. My biggest fear was to be seen in a bikini on the stage. In my eyes, I was already a winner to accomplish this. I entered in the Figure Novice Open division and, in a highly competitive field, was awarded the 1st Place trophy. Later that day, I was also awarded the Figure – Overall Winner’s trophy where I competed against the champions from the other figure divisions which included Short, Tall, Masters, Grand Masters and Ultra Masters.
This was an amazing achievement for me. The competition changed me physically and emotionally. I realised from this point on that the sky is the limit to my dreams.
